He can make it up to you and it may end up being a better date. If you don't really care much about him, then forget him and move on. It really all depends on how much you like him/where you want things to go. But I personally don't think him cancelling the date with couple hours notice is a deal breaker. 8.
It's understandable though if you don't want to tell him why you're canceling. Just mention that you're not feeling 100%. If this guy doesn't understand, then you probably don't want to be in a relationship with him to begin with. Whatever you decide, do not feel guilty because you made a decision based on your period.Going through this right now. I’m at the stage where I don’t plan anything or commit to anything. Up to her. And I won’t say yes unless it’s like day of and she’s still committed and texting me about it. Im so sick of adjusting my schedule to make plans for her and getting cancelled on last minute.
Could be a few thing. 1- he is worried you or him might catch feelings. 2- to see if you could still in be interested / willing to stay on his "hook" so to speak 3. Cause he asks you as a backup in case his original plans fall through. Seriously though, just block him and move on without him in your life.

Something along the lines of "I'm still happy to go ahead with our original plan, but if these last minute changes are dead-set then I won't be attending, but let me know if you do fancy going back to the original plan and we can set a time to meet for that".. Just be direct.
